Aerobic base building exercises are where the individual regularly switches between low intensity and high intensity routines. This can be done either during the same workout routine or on different days.

Cross training is another form of exercise that is recommended by fitness experts to lose weight. Cross training is where a range of different exercises are done over the course of the workout. It has great benefits for the body and it also prevents you from getting bored of the same routine day by day. Doing different exercises will make use of different muscles and this will also prevent you from developing injuries as it is known that doing the same exercise on a daily basis creates wear patterns on the joints of your body.

As mentioned previously it is also important that you regularly monitor your diet and ensure your intake of healthy food is high enough and make it a point to cut down on junk food. Just because you work out, it does not mean you can have large doses of unhealthy food.
